The Nightshift hero’s and heroines battling the dark.

September 6, 2010 by Syd

Well what would the world do without us the unsung hero’s and heroines struggling to keep the DT blogs alive while the UK sleeps.  Our unsung efforts have gone without praise for our tireless efforts to bring frivolity and not a little measure of insanity with humour to the blogs.

For our efforts we have been condemned by the trolls for having a good time and diverting them from their task of spreading disinformation and discord among the masses.

In keeping with this I have found the perfect theme tune for us all…

Well sometimes the night shift can be really interesting… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6lOTU5jODs&feature=related

Borepatch had it pretty well summed up and if I catch the bugger whom released it I shall beat them with a pointed stick or some logan berries. Still applying patches to my PC.

Sorry I missed you at the weekend. broadband was lucky to get more than 5k. My dialup 12 years ago was faster than that and cheaper too.

try to catch you during the week.

    Amanda & crown,

You both do sterling work through the night keeping the trolls at bay and the postings up. Just one complaint – it takes me ages to catch up the following morning! I just wish Disqus didn’t chuck me back to the beginning whenever I follow one of your (many) musical links!!!! Takes ages to find my place again.

    • on September 11, 2010 at 11:21 pm crownarmourer

Yes we do our best and at night it’s slow so we can post music links from youtube we tend to drag up 60’s 70’s and 80’s mainly it’s amazing how much good stuff can be found now that I had forgotten about.

Always loved that song. the two people in the lyrics, Jackie and Marvin (Jackie Wilson and Marvin Gaye) both died the year that was recorded (1984)

    And anyway, it’s fun….

    • on September 6, 2010 at 10:57 pm crownarmourer

Yes it is fun annoying them with disco from the 70’s before they were born.

That’s right, Crown. They don’t like the 24-hour blog because that means that TROLLS NEVER HAVE THE FLOOR. They can never have a propaganda pow-wow amongst themselves because there is always someone ‘at home’ on the blog….
